Registration Payment

The North Florida Orff Chapter offers many registration options for you to participate in our music trainings!

First: Choose whether you wish to purchase a single workshop registration or the "Workshop Series Package", which offers a discount on the workshop fees.

Next: Select whether you are an AOSA Member or Non-AOSA Member. The American Orff Schulwerk Association (AOSA) is the national parent organization that oversees our local chapter. Membership in AOSA supports the continued development of the Schulwerk and benefits such as: PD resources, the Orff Echo quarterly magazine, scholarships and grants, and more. Non-AOSA members can still participate in all of our workshops with an additional built-in fee that goes to AOSA to support this ongoing work, the chapter does not keep any part of that fee.

From the Page to the Stage

Explore the Orff process and discover the many ways children's literature can inspire meaningful music-making through singing, saying, moving and playing. In this hands-on workshop, you'll transform storybooks into engaging classroom lessons and performance pieces that align with your district's music curriculum and reinforce age-appropriate rhythmic and melodic concepts. Leave with practical ideas you can immediately use in your classroom and performances that authentically showcase what your students are learning.

Playing With the Schulwerk

We all want our students to be confident enough in themselves and comfortable enough with the classroom culture to be able to just play. How a child sees themselves in your music classroom is an important aspect of achieving that kind of student success. In this workshop, participants will explore playful uses of children’s literature as the basis for games, movement, singing, and instrumental exploration in which students can find out more about themselves and connect as a classroom community.
